Been practicing with the 300 f/4 and the 1.4x tcon

This is at 300mm, ISO100, 1/320, f/8

I am not happy at all with this. I was shooting up the track towards the sun. Was the iso too low? The pic just looks crap. Any suggestions

First 2 look fine Peter.

Those shutter speeds should get some movement in the wheel so my guess is the driver wasn't trying hard enough.

Last one....my money's on heat haze. It happens and there's not much you can do about it.

How do you mean, they were not using slicks they were on A32Rs which have a very definate tread pattern and I can't see the tread.??

I'm talking about the rims, but it's irrelevant anyway as the shutter speed used is exactly what everyone else uses. Therefore he must have been a bit slow in the corner..

No big deal. :)

Yeh there were some very tame drivers out there today.

Not ragy buggers like at Lanbaugh :)
