The guys looks like, damn why are they taking mine, what about hers?????Yes that is a tennis court net. The pool is on the other side of the hotel. For some reason they are using also tennis court for sun bathing.

I'll come back soon ...

Bluedog, Bills and John, thanks for commenting and being patient to know what happened next.

I got now some time to process some more pics, so here the story continues.

1. The lady decided to move the chair closer to the man.

http://www.laasanen.net/POTN/IMG_2731-01_gg2.jpg

2. The man was not interested :-| anymore, only playing with his PDA, though the lady was provocatively  walking by.

http://www.laasanen.net/POTN/IMG_2736-01_gg3.jpg

3. And she was so disappointed, crying like a baby, never returning to the scene. What a sad story ...

One of your best Olli.... great catch. Thanks Mark, the strong complementary colors of the scene grabbed me - all the connections to human beings are accidental. :D

I would not say "green" Olli, I think the following would be more apt:

"the concrete is always a more mauvy shade of pinky ruset on the other side"

...and nice shot btw.

I really liked the original photo - it really conveys a moment in time that is so full of meaning.

The picture of the woman walking past the man playing with his pda might be interesting too, but its too small for me to see :(

ROFL-- don't get the wrong idea- don't want to shoot 'em-- well maybe 1 or 2 of them perhaps.
I think the female in Olli's pics is just sad that he beat her to the "disinterested stage" You know how those women type beings can be. ;)

Olli- the shots delight me still. :D

That's the mild form. As is- "You want me so you must not be worth pursuing."
I must be careful about giving too much info on a public forum. You know THEY are out there and THEY are watching and I could get into serious trouble if I gave away any more on womanly wyrdness.

We'll talk. . . ROFL (oh and JIC they really are watching---I won't share any secrets)

Well, you won't have to mop that floor for a while ... it must shiny from all the rolling! I think we all know that women usually want the men who are "dangerous" and "disinterested". My current wife was after me because she was awed that I used to walk around my yard with a glass of champagne ... she came from a very restrained family and her first husband was a bit of a religious zealot so I seemed quite "wild" to her. Of course, she won my heart when she said, "I want to be sexually adventurous!" I thought it meant one thing and what she really meant was, "Let's leave one light on!" What a disappointment, but I didn't translate this correctly until after we were married. ROFLMAO, too!:rolleyes:

wu_wei0
7th of July 2006 (Fri), 20:58
Yep, I keep my floors pretty shiny. :D Clean floors are very important.
Ah, surely you are a wild man at heart, at the very least. And at least we can laugh about it all;)
I think I'd have had the same misconceptions you did. My ex was about that adventurous although led me to believe otherwise. False advertising??

You might see if you can convince her to be adventurous enough to shine the floors with you. ;) It is quite fun. or so I hear. :p
I'm still looking to follow your previous advice. maybe even with someone adventurous. :D

You might see if you can convince her to be adventurous enough to shine the floors with you.

Well, once she wasn't struck by lightning by leaving a light on she was a bit more adventurous ... we consecrated a couple of public restrooms ... then she realized that I was old and that sort of thing was really inappropriate for an old married man!

Well, it's my birthday and we've just had ice cream and cake.

Happy Birthday, and many more special ones to come!

I'd imagine you have a few more yummy stories than that. ;) Just living a few years gives us an advantage.:D

PS I'm sorry to be so disagreable, but I believe your lovely wife is mistaken. If public restrooms are problematic you might consider nice corner booths.

This thread has triggered some interesting discussions, thanks all!

The picture of the woman walking past the man playing with his pda might be interesting too, but its too small for me to see :(Sorry about that, maybe to change the screen resolution temporarely to 800x600 might help ... ;)

I wonder where the discussion between Dwight and Wu will lead ... and does that trigger some more toughts which are (hopefully not too far) from photography. ;)

(Lightning as an example "Let's leave one light on!" is naturally something very close to our hobby/profession, and could/should be discussed.)

Yeah, I can see how a guy walking his yard with drink in hand must have seemed pretty 'wild'

Anyway, Olli, how much of your fascinating tale was made up by your good self and how much really happened ;-)
