I need to vent...
It worked fine for about a year, then all hell broke loose. It decides to blow the infamous surface-mount fuse while I'm taking pictures at the Monterey Historic races (once a year and not cheap to attend), so I only got about 20 shots there. After fixing the fuse problem, which I did myself because Sony refuses to acknowledge the problem and wanted a minimum $150+ for service, I was using it again today to take some car photos again. I got some beautiful shots of my friends car, perfect lighting, perfect background, I couldn't have been happier with the shots reviewing them on the camera display. Then, I walk from outside to inside to download the pics and they're all gone! All of them have been erased somehow. Sure enough, I view through the display again and there's no files found. Of course the photos can't be taken again because I no longer have access to the place the car was parked (inside a locked compound).
I'm two seconds away from smashing this piece of crap (wording changed to keep it G-rated). I also know what brand of camera I'm NOT going to buy next time.
Thanks for the vent...
