Images from my first outing with my new 70-200 2.8L...

Don't call PETA! This little guy still has both of his legs, he's just working the cam a bit.

Looks like that lens has great contrast, sharpness and bokeh! I'm thinking about buying it. Is it heavy to hand hold?

It's a bit on the heavy side coming in at 2.80lbs. But I love the weight and I don't think it's heavy to hand hold, it makes the camera a little steadier in my opinion.

Don't think about buying it, just buy it! It's an awesome lens! It's one fine piece of optical engineering, you won't regret it. You might be living off Ramen noodles for awhile but that's a small price to pay.
