I was lurking around, hadn't been here in a while and saw this section of the forum that I didn't even know was here, so I thought I'd post a few.

All shot with a 20D and 70-200 f4 L, Night shots are 2 550ex's. manual on pocket wizards.

Excellent shots. Really like them. They give great sense of the speed and power.

Can you tell me, in shot 2, what is that 000 on the back behind the rider's leg? Is it a speedo or timing device mounted on the bike?

It's for running E.T. classes, a class where you dial in a time and the other guy dials in a time, the slower time gets a head start based on the difference between the 2 times, but the kicker is, you can't run faster than your dialed in time. Most just write on the windshield of the bike but this guy has a changable plate to post his with, just to display the dial in.

Cracking post Bobby. I ventured to Santa Pod here in the UK a few months back and the bikes blew my mind. Scary to think most are kept road legal!
