Here's the Transamerica Building of San Franscisco, juxtaposed with the city's flat iron building.

I'm still trying to figure out what that shadow or discoloration is about 2/3 up the top of the building. At first I thought it was a result of slopping processing but I checked and it was on my original RAW file. A shadow perhaps?

Or a cloud shadow ?

Looks like a strange cloud shadow!

Nice shot Steve, love the juxtaposition and the colours.....I also think the shadow is from cloud as you can see a similar effect on the building in the background.

I like just about everything about this image. The colors are fantastic and the lines are crisp and clear. Definitely a great job here.
