NEW FENCES @ BRANDS Plus DTM & F3

Have you seen the new larger fences at druids? I saw so many shots at DTM last weekend with fences standing out more than pictures,I was within a foot but they still stand out.They are larger, brighter and thicker.
I think this famous angle will need more thought and photoshop from now on.

Most of mine from the top of Druids look the same as yours

i just didnt bother with it at DTM after i saw the fence, i havent been into photography for long, and only tried that spot 1st at this years BTCC race!

i wonder if they would be upset if we made a few lens sized holes in it!

Ah yes, more fences thanks to "Palmer the Pratt". Still, I suppose now that he's built himself a nice new landing pad for his helicopter (obliterating another prime viewing and photographic area in the process) all is well. I've pretty much written Brands off apart from events on the GP circuit from now on.

I used to love shooting down from Druid, looking back at Pdadock - great for DOF shots. But now, how thick does a fence need to be?

Shame really.

Your shots are top draw though. Which lesn did you use?

Didn't they put up some huge fences for the Champ car race a few years ago, which were then taken down again after the event? Hopefully this will be the case with the DTM fencing... (fingers crossed)

I dont think these fences are for moving , they have also dropped the bank ht. to the track, this looks permanant
