a couple of questions.....is the software supplied with the 1Ds compatible with Mac, for imaging and the 1Ds firewire connection?

I have been ravaging the net for all types of prices on the 1Ds. I have scrutinized the prices ($5,300 - $8,000)and ratings ( horrible to wonderful). Is there a respectable middle ground? I have a severe case of 1Ds fever.....................doctor!!! help!!!

Wait for Dell or Gateway to have a 10% sale on dgital cameras and accesories,. (you just missed Dell's but they'll have another)

I just purchased the digi 1Ds from Inoax.com for $6,500, and they had a decent 2gig CF card for $600. Not the worst prices I've seen and was the end of 2 weeks of headache from RitzCamera.com


Camera wont be delivered to me till Wed.
I am anxious, to say the least.

I read the comparative reviews on Inoax for service, price, etc. They were not as good as others, nor customer qualified by the rating URL. Willoughby's and Buydig ( Brooklyn, NY) did better but ran $500 more - $6,999. Pls let me know how Inoax performs when you get your camera package.
