I would like to build/buy a kiosk for wedding shows or even in my office to hang some pictures for demo.
It would have to be light and quick to assemble.
As anyone seen plans or already built booth that can be purchased online somewhere?

thanks

Stephan

Here are some well done plans.

The last great idea (read cheap) that I saw used hollow core doors for both the back wall and main display. They were painted, but the picture frames with removable picture slots were lag (toggle??) bolted on there. The back wall was hinged end-to-end so that it unfolded and was configured like this
\__/\__/.

The main display was hinged such that three doors would form the letter Y. It was only maybe 3 feet tall, but it was placed on a round table and had a lazy suzan underneath so that it would turn. It would probably work the same on the floor as well or you could probably build it like a triangle and just leave the space inside hollow...

Hope this helps. Let us know what you end up doing.

We use gridwall, which is a chrome wire mesh system on 3" centres designed for shopfitting ...in the UK it's usually available in 2ft wide panels of various heights. You can get legs for freestanding use, and various shelves and other attachments. Can be a bit fiddly to link panels, but looks neat and tidy when assembled, and will easily support the weight of flat panel monitors if you want to use them.
