sftempest66,
Very nice set of shots. I really like the compostition of 4251 and 4244. Especiall 4251 (it looks like something I would have done). 4225 & 4228 I find the Door to the stairway a bit distracking though. It would have been nice if you could have avoided it. 4231 is a really great compostion. You paid very good attention to detaill in that you made sure that the wheel was perfectly straight up and down (which a lot of people miss on a shot like this). The only weak poing on this shot is (and something probably out of your control) is one of the parking deck lights is right on top of the deck lid. I really think you did a nice job with this shoot.

Hey Jamie, Thankyou for the nice comment!! now that you mention the door in the two shots they distract me too!! lol well I'll position it better next time, and when I was doing the shot on 4231 I was thinking the same exact thing, and I made sure the pony was up right!

Got PS? Take a look at this thread for how to use a Layer Mask to selectivly lighten/darken part of a pic: Layer Masks will do a great job for local corrections. Here's one illustration. Airport runway shoot (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=117950)

Hey thanks for the tip, I tried applying a new adjustment layer, went in and darked the surrounding areas/lightened the blue gt, then I used the eraser tool to highlight the ares I wanted light/dark? this is just a quick job but is it any better? and is this what you were talking about doing?

I see some differences between the last one & IMG_4251.jpg.
I would concentrate more on the dark car. There's a halo around it now that wasn't there before. You can avoid that by selecting it first so the changes are just made to the car. Here's one easy way for things with hard edges: Selecting areas in PS. (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=39994)
Eraser tool? I wouldn't use it because once you've erased something you can't go back at a later time. Masks can always be changed. Paint the mask with white to reveal all the change & black to hide it all. If you vary the opacity of the paint, OR just paint with a shade of gray, you'll get some change between pure white or black.

It can be confusing at first, but keep at it & you'll get it.

looks like white cars are difiicult. Grungey carpark is a good choice though.

Yes they are difficult. Parking deck (as we call them in the US) are very popular to shot automobiles.

Nice pics, the car looks great. Paint the rear black so you have a berger type panel going. I've seen it on some Mustangs and I got a picture at home Ill post and show ya. Looks good IMO.
