British Superbikes test day at Croft 5th July 2006

Went down to see the BSB testing going on at Croft today and took a few pictures.

Also, did you hear about the thieving ********s who got into the circuit last night and stole 2 of Shaky's bikes???

Cheers Geoff :D . Really loving the lens now :D Think they finish around 5pm. They were on the track most of today so there should be plenty to watch. Shakey looked quite peed off in the garage between testing.

Great set of shots Kev, if you were using the 100-400 I probably saw you today as there were at least 3 people with that particular lens

Geoff there are Superbikes and all the other classses there today and as Kev says they should be there all day, you may have to pay £5 to get in as they were supposed to be charging yesterday but I think they forgot first thing what with everything else that was going on. I hope they catch the bastards who lifted Shakey's bikes as it's the last thing Croft needed where the BSB are concerned. Had to laugh in the afternoon when one guy rode into the circuit on a replica of Shakey's bike, I bet he got a few second glances :)

Thanks Ian :D . That guy on the Shakey replica parked up behind the Rizla Suzuki garage and did turn a few heads. I heard a guy in the pits say its got to be a few hundred grands worth of bikes and spares that's gone, but don't know if that's true.
I had a khaki coloured Diesel cap on yesterday and a blue t-shirt with a No10 on the back if you spotted me Ian.

Cheers Tezmo.:D Keep an eye out on the different teams websites for info. There are two official tests next month at Cadwell Park and Silverstone, but they also have unofficial test days here and there. Different teams use different tracks for the unofficial testing.

Cheers Webmonkey :D It was well worth a look in as you see another side to whats goes on with the preperation in the garages etc where as you have no chance at BSB race meeting.
