There are jerks on both ends. I've shot with Nikon for a while and own Canon. Doesnt' matter what you shoot. A person can be an a-hole but that has nothing to do with brand.

When I used to shoot Nikon, there were tons of Canon owners who would bash me. It works both ways. You just have to learn how to deal with it because theres tons of cocky people out there (tons with great gear who can't even produce great results too IMO).

Should have found yourself a good spot to relax and then sent the kids over to play around his tripod!!! I'm just kidding, he probably would have tried to find something to sue for then. There's a--holes in every step of life. I seem to draw in the ones in cars! Never fails for some nutt to fly past me then slow down to under the posted speed limit, and then they get get pissed when I try to pass them. I know this is mean but a couple of months ago I had a lifted 4x4 truck blow by me going about 80mph in a 55mph zone. He slowed down and I was right behind about three miles up the road, I never turned off my cruise control either. I switched lanes and passed him since he had slowed down to around 40mph. After passing him he comes up behind me and starts to tailgated, about a 1/2 a car length behind me. Even though I wanted to slam on my brakes I resisted the urge and eased over on the shoulder for him to pass but he wouldn't. I got back in my lane and when I looked in my mirror he was giving me the bird! Ok I got pissed then. I had a 20oz coke I hade only taken a few sips out of so I stuck it out the window and let it pour out. He was close enought that it covered his windshield and I think a little went in the cab on him. I figured he would try to get me to pll over but instead he pulled over and stopped, I guess to clean the coke up. I wasn't to worried about him since I do carry protection. I've been meaning to buy a bottle of baby oil just for drivers like him, tlk about a mess on their windshields. Like I said I know it was mean but this jerkoff desreved it.

Maybe he meant "I don't shoot junk" as in doesn't shoot with crappy lenses?

Sorry, he's the jerk?

"So here I am just setting up my D2H on a tripod when some smartass walks by and says 'you know, that lense works really great on a Canon camera' when he sees it attached to my Nikon. Not wanting to deal with some wank blabber on about the finer points of his camera while I'm trying to actually take a photo, I just replied 'I don't shoot junk'. Then this smartass makes a stupid face at me and holds up his crappy Canon and overpriced lense like I'm supposed to be impressed and says "these are comments I hear from guys who can't get good stuff" as though everybody wants a Canon and he's so clever. Is it just me or is it a pre requisite to be a retard if you're going to own a Canon camera?".

I mean seriously, you interupt him and start waving your camera in his face and you wonder if you attract jerks... maybe you're the jerk.

... and then spends his first post telling everyone a pointless story as if Nikon owners are implicitely jerks and how he has to vent his feelings as he was so badly treated. What a waste of time. And it's not the first time he's had this kind of response. And what is a Tamron 24-75mm 2.8? Oh stop ... I am

Welcome by the way.

That's exactly what I got from this pointless little tale of woe. I gotta be honest though. OP would have REALLY thought of me as a Nikon a**hole because I woulda said, "f____ you." ;)
