New guy with a question

Well I'd like to start by saying I'm new here. I just bought a canon powershot A530 with a 1GB card. I am wondering if there are any lenses you can buy to increase the zoom for the camera. I looked on the canon site and they don't show any for it (made by canon). I have seen some things on amazon.com and ebay, but don't want to jump in and buy anything because I'm not sure of the compatibility.

Hi, Wolfwood... welcome. I can't say for sure about the A530, but many people here swear by this (http://www.lensmateonline.com/index.html)manufacturer/vendor for lens adaptors and information about lens converters. Their site doesn't list anything for the A530 as far as I can see, but you may want to contact them. They get high marks for good advice to customer inquiries.
