Nice pictures. It would have been cool if you had been able to get the top of the tallest building in frame, though.
Are there any techniques in PS to get rid of the 'trapezoid' effect on the buildings? I have a few shots with the buildings pointing inwards as they go up like this and would kinda like to fix them a bit.

The lens correction filter can correct this perspective distortion. I imagine that there are other ways to fix this as well, but this is the easiest IMHO.
[Edit] I like the background for the first photo... the converging lines really work for me in terms of adding interest without distracting from the subject of the photo.

Yes, you can correct the buildings' perspetive in PS. (Edit, Transform, Perspective) Once you start doing it, you'll want to do it to everything! LOL
Here's a quick straighten (and I just HAD to solarize it ;) ).
