Edited to split into a few threads....
Still working on images taken in May.
Anyhow, time to post some work from April and May:
First a 'FastFood' dance party:
DJ Jakuza on the decks. Not the sharpest, but enough for web use. Also, someone walk in front of my camera when I took the shot.

Feel free to look at some other work on the server (http://www.moonglade.net/~rene/) It does get updated every once in a while, so if there are no pictures in this thread, there may be some others here ;)

Oh, my, you have been holding out on us! I love the smaller venue pictures with the people right at the stage. In my small venue there are tables near the stage for the "sponsors" so the crowd cannot really do anything there. In my big venue, I am rarely allowed to shoot during the time the crowd is allowed to come to the stage. But I have good light. I like the look, feel and smell of these Rene.

Thanks! Not actively holding out though; I've just been very busy...

Hahaha, talk about holding out:
Just came across some really old stuff. Shot with Nikon on Neopan 1600 and Tri-X respectively:
Sick of It All, June 24 1994

Some psychobilly band, September 30, 1995

I still like the sequence. The Sick of it All image probabely would have been deleted nowadays.
I wondered how I managed those days with ISO 800 film. Now I know: I didn't ;)

That girl trying to get to the goods? And "nowadays" those horns would have been permanently implanted! :-)

Yup, checking the family jewels... For some reason the next song the band played was a cover of a Dead Kennedys song: 'Too drunk to F*ck'
I guess this thread has a bit too much images inside (just read the sticky :o). Makes it a bit too chaotic: 150 views and still a two person conversation ;)

I will suggest to you that you start a different thread for each group/event/venue. It is apparently fine to have many threads with fewer images. I admit to finding the large and tiny (clickable) images awkward to appreciate and comment even with numbers.
I can certainly relate to the "Too Drunk ..." song, but not for a lot of year! :-)

Thanks. I basically take pictures of every thing that happens at Atak (http://www.atak.nl/start)... That includes bands, dj's and whatever else might be on stage ;)
Only problem is I usually can't avoid dancing on Drum and Bass. Conflict of interests ;)
