I have the canon s2 that I love and am slowly getting the hang of. I am lost on what lens I should consider buying. I do ALOT of macro, most of which are of my salt water tank, so are there any macros out there that are better through glass? I would also like to start taking some nice portraits and am wondering what some of you might use for them. Any other lens ideas would be great too, as long as you explain to me what they would be used best for, as I am a little camera retarded...
Thanks for any help you can give me I appreciate it.

Why you don't try www.lensmateonline.com (http://www.lensmateonline.com), they have many reviews of various lenses, macro, tele and wide... you can choose some based on their reviews.
Personally I just have the TC-DC58B very nice tele lens, and planning to buy a 500D for macro (I'm a Canon freaky, no other brands... :-D)
Honestly, I don't know if the 500D suits well for shooting trough glass, but certainly, it can be used, in my opinion, if you don't use flash it can't bounce in the glass... and take a good shot, but it's just my rookie opinion...

A polarizer filter would help cut through glare when shooting through glass.
