Hi,

Just got my very first digital camera, the G3. I've used a MinoltaXGM for 20 years, and am still a rank amateur. After reading the manual, I realized I have got a lot to learn. I take winner's circle shots of bracket racing (handicap drag racing) winners, and will study these forums for learning to take pictures at night, which is when many races are finished. I am looking at buying a Canon 380EX flash unit soon, as I have already figured from these forums that the built in flash is not enough.

The question I have, and I guess it is a dumb one, is would these lenses and adapter for a G2 camera, WC-DC58, TC-DC58 and LA-DC58 work on the G3? I'm lurking on ebay also, and wanted to ask questions before I plunk down any more money.

Thank you

Tim Glover

So far as i know, the lense and adapter won't work on the G3, but then again haven't tried it out myself.

I got a LA-DC58 sold to me by mistake and it worked fine but was about 28mm, I can't remember which adaptor I was using as they cocked that up as well.
