Hi, Brandon... welcome! It certainly looks like you're off to a great start with macro shots -- well done. You'll find a wealth of information here... most of it pretty good :-) -- so keep reading and posting your samples.

Lets keep this a Pa. only thread :). Seriously though, like Ross said, very good macro work. Maybe you could post larger images so we can more easily see the detail.

PA only? I am sorry, I dont don't understand :confused: But sure, here is a larger image :) It's really not detailed, it's too blurry :( Im actually really disappointed, lol

A couple of clarifications. I was joking when I said PA only. Because when I posted, only people from Pa were involved in the thread so I thought that was funny. When I say larger, I mean the forum standard, which is 800 pixels on the longest side. Just something that fills the screen. No one wants to have to scroll up and down and side to side to see a picture.

I really like pictures #3 and #5 of your first post. I'm also a beginner with an S2-IS and I like seeing nice pics taken with the same model as I have. Keep it up!! :D

:) Yea, same here ... Just to see what my camera is capable of. And I am sorry about the size of the pics, I will take it off. It was a pain scrolling, lol.
