I was trying some longer exposure times this afternoon.I think this one turned out pretty good.If this pic turns out soft or seems to be OOF,it's gotta be something I'm doing wrong to downsize it.The orginal is tack sharp.Taken with the 17-40L on a tripod with a cable release.I used Canon's Digital Photo Pro to tweek the RAW image. Then I clicked on "convert and save" as a JPEG.I downsized to 800 MP at the same time so I could post it here.I know most people here use CS2,but it's a little advanced for me.Maybe I should upgrade to Elements 4? Am I doing something wrong or is it the software?Help me make my shots that I post as sharp as everybody else.

I suggest PSE 4 as it'll allow you to resize for the web and then you can apply USM (unsharp mask) to bring the reduced size sharpness back up. Nice image by the way. You wanna save as a tiff file first from RAW and make all adjustments with in the tiff file before saving as a jpeg.
