First Post Here in Weddings! C&C

This is just a photo that i took at my brother's reception. I wasn't the official photographer so i was just snapping away inbetween. This was originally color and i converted it by using the channel mixer. I'm shooting my FIRST REAL wedding in August, so i'm excited. Right now i am an assistant wedding photographer and i have also done a few friends weddings in the past as favors. anyway. without further ado, my brother Justin and his wife Sachiko.

I really like it as a Candid shot. The black and white looks good, although the contrast is a little funky in my opinion. Composition is good, I like how the bride is looking at the camera's general direction, and the groom is looking aside but still included in the photo, as though you caught them as they passed by on their way to their car. Lighting is usually unpredictable in these situations. But I like it. Good luck with your own wedding photo project. If all else fails, there is always Imodium. But you will do fine, so long as you snap away at the chick with the ring and the flowers. :)
