Pretty Cool Fireworks!!!

Our local fourth of July celebration was held on the fifth due to the weather. After seeing some fireworks pictures posted here, I thought I'd try taking some with mt S2IS on the fireworks setting. It worked out really good after I got my timing down!

Notice the one exploding in the distance on the lower right. Timing is important, but luck is everything!

Great shots Edd. The spider leg one looks like you drew it on your computer, very cool shot. Luck may be everything but it is real friendly with talent.:)

great shots double D. my friend and I took alot of shots but the air was thick and the smoke just hung in most of the later shots. #1 always upwind!
I don't remember the last time I was excited about fireworks until we got into photography together! I had a blast even though the shots didn't turn out as well as yours!

This is the first time I used the "fireworks" setting, and I am very impressed with how it worked. Even with that, I still deleted about three times more pictures than I kept.
