Just got back from 10 days working with kids in the DR. These will be a bit different than the rest of the series, but thought they were qite nice looking. We took a picture of each kid we were working with (~120 kids) and did on site printing so they could have one.

they all go straight into their favorite poses, and most are straight from magazine covers from the US. Sometimes its a pain as I don't know spanish and can't tall them to pose differently.

Hola amigo! Las fotos estan muy buenas! :) LOL
I really like the color in them. I especially like #3 & #4. The first one seems a bit soft on her face. Good job!

thanks, this part of our trip was just to get images to do the prints for them, and only had a couple minutes to do all of the pictures, so I didn't get to spend as much time as I'd like to have.

edit

I just realized they haven't gone through PS at all yet so no sharpening yet either

Great shots, what lens did you use, there's some great bokeh going on.

I love these shots because ya sure see the a personality in them. I liked the male shots the most because of that. The first male seems as if to be pointing to his "smarts"...as in "It's all up here." The second male I get the impression of the saying.."just do it!". He looks proud of what hes done and I love the tablets in his hand. The last image is my favorite out of all those.

great view of those!

the first male shot is a kid thats been through a lot. We tried forever to get scouts to take him tot he states to play baseball. Then he wanted to make something of himself, so he decided he wanted to go to medical school. So the organization gave him a year to go to so me basic classes and prove himself, and while we were there we were able to tell him we had the money and that he had earned his way tot he school. He's been speechless ever since
