My first wedding post...

Hi!

I did a wedding July 1, 2006. This is not my first wedding. I do have a question though. This was the first wedding with darker skinned individuals, and I was wondering if I exposed the skin / dress correctly. The second one looks like some of the dress is blown out to me. The bride was stunning. The lighting, as usual, was dark. This by far was my most fun wedding. The wedding party was so easy to work with, and were photogenic.

I think they are nice. You could bring out the Mom a little more in your BW conversion of the first, but that's my only CC.

The dress does look slightly overexposed in spots in both of those images.

It can be a difficult task, eh!

With the 1st, get rid of that distracting light behind the bride - easily done in photoshop.

I like them both very much. The first one is my favorite with, I'm assuming "mom", in the background. Personally, I like that she is out of focus with the attention primarily on the bride.

Mizuno, yes it can be a difficult task.
Pixi, true removing the light would be an easy fix.
