Hi, I have been lurking for a little bit and have finally built up the courage to post a few of my photos. I have photographed two weddings and two grand-opening-style events, but really don't have any other photography experience or education. My equipment also leaves much to be desired now that I've seen what everyone else on this forum has. Anyway, please let me know what you think of the below pictures and I'd be happy to hear any criticism or advice you have.

Thanks,
Chad

I like 2,3, & 7. Number 2 captures a joyous moment, 3 is simply cute, and 7 shows wonderful emotion.

Be careful this forum will make you spend money.... its crazy.

Regardless of your equipment, you definatly have some good shots, keep it up!!

Nice. Couple of thoughts:
- When taking photos of kids get down to their height.
- The main person in your photo should be in focus - aim for the eyes of the bride in the 2nd last one.

good shots, I like the one with the bubbles, as they already said on this forum, It is most of the time the photographer and not the equipment.

(i'd like to get some new lenses though but love my 350D as it is not as heavy for me)

I shoot weddings with a dig rebel so don't worry about that. I like what you have so far

one comment about #1 - Remember to shoot kids on their level. If you can, kneel down to their eye level.

Thanks for the comments and compliments. I do wish I had gotten down lower for the picture of the flower girl, but she was very camera-shy and I was rushed to get anything before she ran off.

I'm surprised no one mentioned the chairs in the background of number 3. I took quite a few pictures before noticing them there. There's just so much to pay attention to during these things.

Anyway, thanks again for the thoughts.
