Solo @ The Network

This guy was doing a solo performance on the back patio of The Network in downtown San Luis Obispo. He said he was in a local band called Viper Sex (cool name hu), which is a jazz/blues band. He was playing a few songs from his band, but mostly covering songs and a couple I recognized were from Robert Johnson and Muddy Waters (even cooler), and he did a very good job covering. The first shot was taken with the 24-70mm @ 24mm and the second was shot with the 70-200mm @ 170mm.

Both shots are very good. SLO is a great town for "culture" including the "gum wall" and Farmer's Market.

very nice, I like composition and expression in both. I also like the B&W choice, to keep odd colors from distracting on the first photo. Photographying musicians is a lot of fun.
