I don't usually take images of captive birds but this one was so cute I couldn't resist.;) All taken with EF 50mm F/1.4 USM

I love the first and third images. The other 2 shots show just how tiny this owl is. Nice captures of the captive;)

Lovely shots of this owl. I like the close-up ones. I still haven't seen one yet, captive or wild.

Beautiful.

I have no idea where to find owls in the wild here in Denmark so I have to settle for those in the zoo.

Excellent series. Such a beautiful bird and photographed well. All great shots, with the third being my favorite, the pose and composition makes this one look great! Well done!

Those are gorgeous! What an adorable little owl. Looks like a cat! I love the shots with the mouth open. Amazing job.

Only fitting you shot it with the 1.4; his vision is probably like the bokeh on your shots with eyes that large. I love the 3rd pic with the open mouth!!!

A great series. I love number 2, as it shows how diminutive he is, and the expression in number 3 just knocks me out.
