For thos of you that have proof books printed, where there is 4+ pics on one printed page, where do you have them printed? I would like to print 4x6 or 3x5 pics with 4 on a sheet/page.
How many of you just have 4x6 pics printed & put them in a cheap album? If you do that, do you put somekind of copyright watermark on the pictures?
Thanks,
Scot

www.apple.com
Although, I am not sure it will work without an apple.
www.mpix.com is good too.

I looked at Mpix & didn't like it because I do not see a preview of the pages, so I don't know how it is cropped. And I can not select the order.
Don't have an Apple / Mac so www.apple.com won't work.
Thanks,

try candid2000, I think they offer up to 12 prints per page on a proof book

"candid200"
This "Image Catalog", displays either 4, 9, or 12 images on each l0xl0 page. This is large enough to order from but small enough to discourage those who would be tempted to copy them.
Using our software you can drag and drop the images into the page layouts in any order you wish. The image ID number remains the same regardless of the sequence in which they are placed. The maximum number of images per book is 638. For weddings with 400 or more images we recommend splitting it into two books.
The booklets are $2.75 per page with either 4, 9, or 12 images per page. The front cover, back cover and wire binding are FREE! You can customize the front and back page using the templates in our software.

Candid is who I usually get them from. Was looking for something with picture sizes other than square. If I use Candid I would use the 4 pics/page, @ $2.75 a page, it is cheaper to print off 4X6 images @ $.25 each.
Those of you who do 4X6 in an album, do you put Copyright on it somewhere?

I ordered a my last proof book from QOOP.com and was very happy with the result. It's something like $12 for 20 pages, then $0.40 for each additional page.

I have used Candid 2000 and Burrell pro lab- I love them both. With Burrell you can have only 4 on a page if you choose.

White House Custom Color (www.whcc.com) will do it for you. You upload the images to their FTP site and they will build the book based on the number of images per page you want. You can also send them a front cover image. I have done 8.5x11in as well as 11x14in and was pleased with the result. Good luck, Dennis

I decided to try Pro Labs Express for this proof book: http://www.prolabexpress.com/. I can't say if it is good/bad yet, because I haven't received it. Just ordered it yesterday. Each page was $1.75 for a 10x10, & the cover was $5.75 (I think).
