Wanted: 20d or similar with lens

Totally new to digital SLR photography, but I've been using an old canon manual for a while.

Basically I want the same thing, but in high quality digital.

Adjustable aperature (hopefulyl going to 1.8 or around there) preferred.

Canon 20d looks to be prime, but lemme know what you've got.

Are you looking to buy or looking for advice? If its Advice you should ask this question on the EOS board. If you are looking to buy then you should look at the Sell board. I bought my 20D off of a user here and I have never looked back.

The lens are all interchangable on EOS cameras so you can go down to a minimum of f1.2 with available lenses but at that speed they cost a fortune! You can get a 50mm prime lens at 1.8 for under $100 or a 1.4 for only $350, both being very affordable and very sharp.

Oh offers. I have a 20D, but you can't have it. :)

If you can find one with a low shutter count go for it! The 20D I believe is rated to a 100,000 shutter count, I got mine used with 1200 and have only put on 2000 since getting it so it goes a long way.
