Ahhhh. These are great.

The pose on the Sparrow is exceptional, too bad you just missed the focus as it appears a bit soft or is it just a very shallow dof?

I especially like the downy and the GBH. The lighting is gorgeous.

Methinks that Gary must sleep there! Did you find his tent?

 I was sleeping soundly in my bed (at home) for at least an hour after Wayne got to Petrie:D Blackburnian pointed this guy out to me last year and it looks like he has made a comeback.

Wayne...other than John's comment on my suposed campsite at Petrie, I agree with everything else he said here.:D

Awesome shots. That GBH image is fantastic. Great composition, focus, everything -- you nailed it! It looks like you had some challenging light coming in, but you did a great job with it.

Way to go!

Very nice shots in the early light. I love the color tone cast by the morning sun. Nice shots! Those two woody shots are awesome with nice detail and crisp focus! :)

Beautiful shots. The Male Downey and the Heron are outstanding for colour, detail, pose and composition.

I love number 3 and 4! The focus seems a little soft at the head of the male downy but it is a great image! I like how he is "hanging" around!

I like the perching heron! The two Downies look great too, with nice lighting on the female and nice surroundings with the male.
