Nice ones. Were you closer for the first shot or did you crop the second?

these are uncropped. just wanted to see if it would make a difference having the same composition but at different distances. =) berrylish happy. this is the last photographic equipment i'll get. even though i said that last time.... but yes! absolute last! i swear

i kept debating with myself on whether or not to get the IS. in the end i figure it would be useful for low light conditions so now i have the 2.8 IS =)

The 70-200 is one of those lenses where you'll get those "WOW" shots quite often.

i'm sure you've already fallen in love with it's bokeh. this lens is definately my favorite one, great for candids and portraits, sports and events, even the occasional tool for striking up conversations with random people. lets see another lens come close ;)
if your model had the same stance for both, i'de say the first one would look much better than the second one. kind of hard as they are right now, but first one is still on top by a slim lead.

Oh my, that's an expensive piece of lens. I am so envious... I'll upgrade to the 2.8 IS but not anytime soon. Will be content just renting...
Great test shots btw.
