Hi All...

I'm just wondering if these close up lens I saw on Ebay are any good. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Do they make better quality close up lens, or is it better to just save and buy a good macro lens? I know a good macro will hit me for about $1K, but I thought I'd try something like this in the mean time.

i use a +4 close up lens, and it works fine, if you get a good one there is very little degrading of image quality.

There appears to be no coating on those lenses and they will almost certainly be single element. Better CU lenses exist, like the Canon 250D and 500D or Raynox DCR250 but they'll cost you more.

Thanks for the info. I don't mind paying a bit more, since i'd like something fairly decent in quality.
