Hi,
First of all... it needs resizing to a maximum of 800px on the longest edge.
Was this hand-held? There seems to be a 'fuzziness' about it.
How many shots? there doesnt seem to be that much of a dynamic range. Was it just 3 shots using exposure compensation? The sky is over-exposed which shouldnt happen on an HDR.
I know how tough HDR is... but there's a few basic things you need to remember:
Use a tripod.
Take at least 5 pictures with only ever differing shutter speed.
Try not to use a scene with the possibility that it may move, it wont work. In this case the trees will move in the wind
Keep at it though! You'll get it cracked eventually!
:)

Sorry about the size. Forgot to resize the picture:o. Thanks for the comments I'll keep them in mind next time I try this. it was one of those days when it is overcast but the sun breaks through in small openings.yes it was only three shots at differing shutter speeds.

Ok, I have to ask....what is HDR?

HDR = High Dynamic Range. This means that everything in the photo is exposed correctly...there are no underexposed/overexposed areas. It is achieved by taking 3-5 photos of different exposure and combining them using software to achieve these results.
Obviously there's more science to it than this...but that's the basic idea.

PS. Any experts out there please correct me if I'm wrong!

Haha, you're very welcome. Keep searching the forum for HDR images..some of them are breathtaking. There are probably more useful links in the forum too. Here's one if you're interested..

Traditionally how would HDR be achieved with a film camera? Tons of dark room magic?
