I have a 20D and am looking for a remote shutter release. Has anybody used one of these:

Canon Timer Remote Controller TC-80N3

B&H has them for 132 USD.

The wireless ones are around 400 USD.

Thanks for you help and advice!

Ole Joe

Do a google for 'Adidt'...

I always use the TC-80N3 when the cameras tripod mounted. It's ridiculously expensive but if I lost it I'd buy one again without a second thought. Check out http://www.luminous-landscape.com/reviews/tc-80n3.shtml for a brief review.
I see that Rene (sorry can't figure how to get the accent on the last e) is suggesting the Adidt. I had one briefly, and as a straight forward shutter release it's fine and at a fraction of the cost of the Canon. But overall I prefered the Canon for what I needed.

cheers
