View Full Version : 15,000 Acre Fire Sunset

We are having a huge brush fire that so far burned about 15,000 acres by Yucca Valley and Pioneer Town. Pioneer Town was hit hard today but the fire fighters saved the historic wild west part of town and Pappy & Harriet's. Sadly many, many, homes were lost to the fire. I live about 30 miles east and took this shot of the sun setting behind the smoke. The smoke column now extends into Nevada. I have not had the time to process the rest ofthe images but I did make a panorama of the whole smoke column which I am working on stitching.
