Yeah a local thing, in the cold of winter is a good idea.

WRC still is months away, and anyone wanting to go along sure can go! :)

WRC? What's that?
Anyway: Taupo seems really interesting (I've never been there, so far), but it's too faraway for a one-day journey. I'll go there, but with a quiet pace, in spring or summer... :)

it's going to be more interesting this year as it's going to be in the waikato, which apart from the raglan stage, I don't think they been on before. so it will be interesting to see what they think of it.
