These are some nice shots
Just wondering what the specs were on these, lense, shutter speed, etc.

Some excellent shots of a starling!
I would have liked to see a few lleft in full color,. just as a comparison. But the sepia has a nice effect.

Thanks a lot for your comments on my gallery...I used the sepia because of better contrast and the light coming from the back..the colors seem too (how do you call it) flat or something. For example here are 3 pics in color from the sepia gallery:

The light coming from the back and the parkinglot behind the bird were arguments for me to turn em into sepia. For instance this next picture I took this afternoon is taken with the sun towards the bird and the colors seem much better and brighter. It's a shame there is a wall behind the bird now. But this looks better in color..hope you feel the same as I am:

I used my G3 and you can see the settings when you push the button 'image info'. I mostly use 1/1000 shutter speed and shutter priority because I didn't use a tripod. With less light I use a higher ISO such as 100 or even 200. I rested the camera on a wall, ground or my knee. I used a crystalvue LX lense on my G3.
For a few other colored versions like the last picture look at:

Cheers,
Bob.
