Finally got the questions to post. PLEASE bear with me on this too long of a post. I own a A95 that has been beat to living hell out of it. This is why I am sticking with Cannon, what can I say I LOVE them (as well as this forum!) (I am also taking the A95)
I use my camera for traveling, but not the normal type of traveling (no camera bag.) I used the A95 this past summer to hike across America on the Continental Divide Trail (CDT) 3,100+miles from Mexico to Canada.
Some (very big) pics from the hike:

I am about to ride around the world on a dirt bike as far off the beaten path as possible. Planning on taking around 5 years, give or take a few years. (Basically till my money runs out.)
I am going to be buying the A620 and I am looking for your advice. I also want to buy some accessories. Being new to photography, I just don’t have a clue. I want to be able to take portraits with out being in there face. I also want to continue taking landscape and have though about a wide-angle lens.
I would appreciate ALL your thoughts and any ideas of what I should take. Becuase like I said I am new as it comes.
Thanks for the time and take care
