Yes, again, much easier to review and appreciate! I like the angle of #2 ... it reminds me that I should go up to the top tier of the raised seats to shoot the stage as well as at ground level at the lightboard!

Actually quite easy at this venue (013 in Tilburg (http://www.013web.nl/)), since the floor is kindof a big staircase towards the back. Back of the hall is something like 2 meters higher then the front ;)
Capacity is 2200 people, and it was about 1/2 to 3/4 filled that night. Shame the show didn't have a light tech with them: Now one of the local crew was behind the lightboard, and he did it rather badly...

Geez, that's a big place. The Chumash Casino Resort's Samala Room where I shoot has about 1300 capacity. And unlike 013, the local LD is very good!

When shooting at Hanks I actually go out on the roof. The stage area is technically on a patio. They raise some "flaps" to get circulation. I've gotten some of my better shots at that angle.

These are all very nice....

Yeah, I use a barstool every now and then to shoot over the audience. Kinda trick with the rougher concerts however ;)

Thanks for the comments everyone!
