Okay, I think I am happy with what is in my camera bag these days. But out of curiosity, what would you add to my bag? Or have I reached nirvana and don't NEED to buy a damn thing!

D30 - like it don't need a 10d
Elan II - backup
Sigma 15-30
Canon 28 2.8
Canon 28-135
Canon 50 1.8
Canon 100-300 5.6 L
Canon 200 2.8
Canon 2x II
Canon 1.4x I
Canon 12mm & 25mm Ext Tubes
Canon 500D Close-up Lens

The only thing I really have on my list to get right now is a Canon 85 1.8 and BG-ED3. I do mostly travel photography, with some sports, portaits, group photos, nature, and some snapshooting. TIA

Forgot to mention, Canon 550ex Speedlite, Bogen Tripod and Ballhead, Filters: 81b, CP, ND, Crosshatch, Softening.

I am assuming you have a selection of filters for day to day use, and a tripod.
Maybe a Flash - can be very handy to have a decent high powered flashgun.

Is the listed "100-300mm f/5.6 L " really the 100-400?

If sports is your thing,. the 100-400 can cover it,. but you don't have a fast prime. Depends on how you shoot by I would be itching for a 300mm prime or even 400mm.

Nope, the older 100-300 5.6 L, not the 100-400. I had the 100-400 but it is too damn heavy! The 200 2.8 is lighter, sharper, and more versitile since I have the 1.4 and 2 extenders.

You seem to have a good range of lenses so you probably don't need to buy anything at this point.

However, until you have all the lenses you can't reach Nirvana (this includes the ever desired 1200mm).

The only thing you don't have (or plan on getting) that I have found useful is the Angle Finder C, saves much strain on back when doing some portrait shots or on neck when doing near ground shots.

finally ignore the following for your own sanity:
You obviously need a full set of f2.8 "L" zooms (16-35, 24-70, and 70-200) and don't forget the 15mm fisheye (which is useless with the 1.6x crop factor).

Just my opinion,

I would add some special-effects lenses, notably a wide full-frame fisheye and a soft-focus lens.

My collection covers the same basic terrain as yours, but it does so in a different way:

14mm Sigma
16mm Zenitar full-frame fisheye
20-35 Canon USM zoom (the newer, slower one)
28-70/2.8 Sigma EX
35-80 Canon that is one I wouldn't mind dropping in the sand at the beach.
50/2.5 Canon macro
70-200/4L
135mm/2.8 Canon soft-focus
1.4 converter
Phoenix 100-400 that I might actually bury on the beach, and soon, so I can replace it with the 100-400L. I don't even carry it in the bag any more--it isn't worth the trouble.

The two special-effects lenses are nice to have, and didn't cost me much.

I also have an adaptor for my medium-format lenses, which opens the door to the following:

180mm/2.8 Zeiss MC Sonnar
300mm/4 Zeiss MC Sonnar
500mm/5.6 Pentacon MC Prakticar (which is big enough to cover 6x7 and will get you arrested if you pull it out in Washington, DC)

Those Sonnars have better bokeh than any Canon (or other Japanese) lens I've ever seen, even though their sharpness might not be as good. And their color rendition is wonderful.
