grey market 300D

Ok, in australia i can buy a US grey market camera at about $250-350 (AU) below the price in store. The website that sells the grey market camera has its own 12 month replacement warranty, and i've recieved positive feedback from other users on another canon message board i go to.

Any reason why not to get this camera?

(at least in my opinion)

Bottom line is Canon will honor ANY country's warranty as long as you have your receipt documenting the purchase.

At least thats the way it works in the US.

My D30 was an Irish version and it got fixed a LOT under warranty!
