A70 Raw format?

Howdy folks,

I'm new to digital photography. I've been enjoying my A70 but I have a question. Does the A70 shoot in RAW format? I can't seem to find that setting for the camera. I would like to use the RAW format for special shots that I may need to play with in Photoshop Elements.

Yes, your manual is correct, your compression options are JPEG only in superfine, fine and normal compression.

Okie dokie, thanks. I guess super fine will have to do for now. I'll upgrade when I get more competent with a digital camera.

It does suck that it's not there, but u do get more pictures out of a card though.
