oooo, can't wait. finally took the plunge and ordered the 17-40L last week. the ups guy should be knockin on my door come Tuesday. i am sooo excited!! cheers!!

Isn't that funny? Seems like everyone's first L is the 17-40. Lol...it was like my tenth. I just got it (mind you, I've never owned that many at one time). It's a very nice lens..I just got mine yesterday. Enjoy!

For the record, my first lens, and my first L, was the 100-400L IS.

I would have thought that discussions of cameras and lenses could be far more interesting.

Your ever so revolving collection. I still have my first(hard to let go of my 70-200)!! :p
