ok, so i guess some background information is in order,
i'm an 18 year old part time student, who is just getting to the world. ive thought often about what i wanted to do thats somethign more then a short term job, yes, ive been contomplating a career, and hoenstly, this is one of the only things i both enjoy and appriciate enouph to work at in a tedious manor. so, ive come here wondering if anyone has any insight on photography as a carrer, and some Critique on a few photos ive taking wiht a low grade consumer camera(KONICA MINOLTA Dimage Z1 to be exact). so Please, if you have anything to say, feel free to post and make my day.

Below is a link to my Flickr.com page, with a few picutres ive takin as a hobby, if you could even call that, i usualy only take pictures maybe once a twice a weak and maybe only an hour or half at a time

You'll get much more and better critique if you ask for one or two images to be critiqued and put the image in the thread than if you point at a website.

Welcome to POTN. Most of your photos seem tightly cropped for my taste's. But you have some good shot's.

Welcome to POTN. As a couple of people have said - pick one or two pics at the time and people will be able to give them a more meaningful critique.

As an example, I'll use http://www.flickr.com/photos/mrcheezy503/110028605/ - it's a nice shot, but there are a few areas spoiling it - the wire in the background, the scuff in the wall, the battery charger(?) and dice on the floor. Also, if you're not going to have all of something in shot (ie the guitar), then cut enough of it off so that it looks deliberate, rather than just accidentally cutting the edge off it.

Hope that's given you some useful advice.

Welcome friend. :) You seem to enjoy photography. Just keep shooting and reading. :)
