G3 zoom button

A quick question about the G3 zoom button. When i turn the button to the right (after having turned it left) it makes a clicking sound. Is this normal? Other than that it is working fine and I am soooo pleased with the camera!!

It's amazing to see all the noises, clicks, clacks, and diddle-whacks the G3 makes. Maybe we should make an archive of all the sounds in .MP3 format so people can listen to them. I remember when I first played around with a G3 all these noises, and then after reading through the myriad articles here on G3 noises, I feel mine is okay now.
