Hi,

I'm fed up of Windows XP
I installed WIA v5.0.5 for my Canon Ixus v2 device.
After a reboot, i pluged my device .... and it tells me "USB device unknow" !!
I think it was probably due to SP1 ??!!!
Someone know how to fix this driver probem ?

Thks for all,

Elrick.

I have no problem at all with sp1. My laptop has usb 1.0 and works fine with my s230. I now have a usb2.0 card, and it works fine with my Archos multimedia jukebox. I have downloaded hundreds of pictures from the cf card to the jukebox, and later on to the laptop. One thing I find is to make sure I plug in the cable first, then the device (either jukebox or s230), making sure all connections are plugged in properly, then turn on the device. If you want to dl from the cf card to computer, I use an inexpensive cf card adaptor for my laptop, or you can buy a cf card reader. I think its better this way, without having to deal with that tiny (flimsy, maybe?) connector on the cannon.

Some precision about my computer :

I use Gigabyte 8KNXP with P4 @ 3.06 Ghz, 1 Go of Ram
(it's an USB 2 motherboard)

The problem is other kind that just a plugged trouble, shame on me if it's one.
