Where`s the point as long as the software doesn't support the G3? The guy announced since ever more, but doesn't come up with it, so I don't see any reason fpr supporting him.

You can still use it, it's not a requirement to use any of those DSLR. I am assuming it is just refering to RAW DSLR's files, like for Canon it's .CRW...

It seems to work pretty well to me anyways..
