Just a shot I took the other day. There's a lot going on in the image, but I thought it was kind of nice.
It wasn't during the Mackinaw race this weekend... but it was another VERY busy day where boats were within feet of each other. Very interesting to watch and see the sailers screaming at each other claiming right of way.

You've got the bluewater bridges, typical seagull scavengers, sailboats, spectators... if only I could get a chip truck and chemical plant in there. Oh well.

Its so nice there, the water is a spectacular blue in color. Even winter is fantastic. Those sailors really have their hands full.

Love this shot. I'm ususally not a fan of people getting in to these types of images but, the combination of the person in the chair and the seagulls give the shot some foreground interest IMO.

Boy, those bridges sure seem a lot higher than that when you're on top of them! Great shot, Rich!
