Yesterday, I took my brand new Sigma 70-200 (which I bought on your recomendation) to the park for some practice photos. I was taking pictures of semi-tame geese......

....and then I spotted this guy

You can see I goofed and accidentally focused on the shore and not the Heron.

I totally didn't expect to see a heron here in Ohio. It must have been the CDS vibe associated with you recomending the Sigma that lured this bird.

So far I love the lens. Other than the user errors, it works fine. I'm taking it to California tomorrow!

The colors in the reflection of the second image are beautifull,...


...and of course,. that is one sweet Heron :D
