How can I print RAW format phot? If convert is needed, what is the best way?

First question: I don't think you can. May be one of the Canon printers can recognize that format. Read their specs.

Second question: will take too long to answer and there are already thousands of posts, articles and stories about this subject. Read, read, read.

Convert the RAW file to JPEG or TIFF with the software that was supplied with the camera (Canon File Viewer Utility) and print the JPEG or TIFF file with your favourite printing software.

If you want to preserve the priginal RAW files quality and resolution you should save the RAW file as Tiff,.. or if you are working with Photoshop you may want to save as .psd

By saving to jpeg for printing you will b sacrificing quality.

There is a debate about the visible or perceived effects of saving to jpeg.

BUT There is no debate about the actual compression and quality loss. There will be loss of quality by compressing to jpeg. There will be no loss of quality by saving to tiff.
