Hey, I'm planning on selling a few of my prints to a couple local coffee shops/art galleries.

I'm really excited, but I need to know: what's the best way to create a bordered photo suitable for framing and all. I did this: http://urbanscribe.com/print.jpg but I'm not sure everything is perfectly centered and all.

I need to know if there is a template or specific way of going about this. Please help me out. Thanks.

(?) Seems too obvious to suggest using a ruler, not quite sure what you mean...

Tradition/taste/whatever suggests people like images to be centred L-R, if the image doesn't perfectly fit the paper size, and you're not going to trim, then a larger gap at the bottom - like the classic polaroid layout. AFAIK, no international law on this one : ) So go with the layout you like/want/suits the image/etc.

As for templates/methods, depends on the software you are printing from/computer platform/printer driver. Shouldn't need any special templates for Photoshop/Mac/Epson for example, but you could make one in PS, the size of your paper, drop the image onto a new layer, use grid for alignment, print 100%, ignore warnings if you're printer doesn't do borderless (unless you are printing a colour border!).
